The Equipment
Vacuums:
We use some bad-ass vacuums. Miele vacuums are the cushy luxury car of the vacuum world. They are quiet, which means you will not be disturbed. They contain a hepa filter, which means the dirt and dust will be removed from your space instead of circulated back into the air. They are manufactured in Germany, by a company that designs them to last.
Miele invests their money in the machines and it shows. We have tested many others – Miele is the undefeated vac-champ in our book.

(We don’t use brooms! They are ineffective at removing debris from your floors!)
Mops:
We clean hard floors with high-quality microfiber mops. The mop “tops” are changed frequently during cleaning visits to assure we are actually removing the grime.
(We do not use string mops! They are unsanitary and do more to dilute the dirt and smear it around than they do to remove it.)
Cleaning towels:
We have a bunch of different rags in our bags! We love microfiber cloths for dusting and polishing, terry cloth for scrubbing away the grime, and “huck” towels for drying and cleaning glass.
(We do not use paper towels! They are wasteful and harmful to the environment!)
The Products
Solumel
This all-purpose cleaner and stain remover can be used in varying strengths to deal with all types of grime and lots of stubborn stains, and it’s gentle, subtle lemon scent deodorizes without creating a “chemically,” perfumed, or otherwise overpowering smell.
Mela Magic
Safe on wood, another great all purpose cleaner that does wonders on built up grime and stubborn surfaces.
Pro-Tip: Spray a little Melamagic and use a Magic Eraser on a shower base and you will witness a double dose of cleaning witchcraft
Soluguard
This is an AMAZING all natural disinfectant. It does the same job the more common disinfectants do; it is EPA approved and certified to kill 99.9% of all the wee beasties, but this stuff is so gentle it makes you wonder why we associate harsh chemicals with safe surfaces. There IS a better way!
