We vacuum, but we don’t do steam cleaning / deep carpet cleaning. If you need carpet cleaning, we can send you a referral or manage it for you.
We can do anything we can reach on a 3 step ladder AND glass that doesn’t need to be scraped of adhesive, etc as covered by our insurance. However, if you need more we can give you a referral or manage it for you.
There is a distinct difference between houseCLEANING and houseKEEPING!!
Housecleaning is getting down to the dirt and the grime. It involves scrub brushes and spray bottles and, occasionally, an old toothbrush. It involves getting up close and personal with your potties. It is the work that doesn’t need to be done every day, but should be done often enough that it doesn’t become an overwhelming task.
Housekeeping is all of the chores that should be done on a daily basis to KEEP your space maintained. These are things like picking up clutter, putting away laundry, doing the dishes, making the beds, taking out the trash, etc.
Nearly all of our residential clients hire us for houseCLEANING because they have the KEEPING part dialed-in, but it is important for our clients and our employees to understand the difference. We have learned from our own error that this difference is not common knowledge.
Let’s use a “totally hypothetical” scenario:
Let’s say someone like… I dunno… my boyfriend, wants to hire my team to come clean the house he and his brother own. We offer a price, it is accepted, and we send the team in to clean all the things! But then, we get a complaint! Hooray! What did we do wrong that we can learn from?!
The complaint is that we didn’t put stuff away, we didn’t clean the dishes, we didn’t put away the laundry… Well, shoot- That’s not what we thought we were hired for. So Korin and I vent a bit, but then we realize that we never took the time to truly understand what our client really needed. This complaint was legitimate, and it helped us identify an area to improve.
Out of this complaint came the inevitable gem of wisdom: our new client told us he wanted “The Mommy Treatment.” Bam!! Brain explosion!!
HouseKEEPING is all the things your mommy would do for you. If you feel like the The Mommy Treatment is exactly what you need to help you pass for a fully-functioning adult, we are so here to help, and we will keep it a secret.
We’re insured and established. Our staff members are employees and covered by our workers comp insurance.
Fun fact: There is no licensing required to operate a cleaning company , but we’re working to change that.
We have taken courses in vacation rental management, best-practices for commercial cleaning, and multiple educational seminars on operating an ethical company. We have spent every year since our inception learning and modifying our processes so that we can excel in this industry and, one day, revolutionize the whole thing.
We work with you to find the ideal combination of day, time and team. We are flexible with you, because we may, at some point, ask you to be flexible with us. We understand things happen and sometimes rescheduling is necessary and we trust that our clients feel the same way.
We can be available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 366 days a year if that is what you need.
Our typical hours are daily between 10am-4pm for vacation rentals, 8am to 3pm for residential, and after business hours for commercial cleaning.
Nope, but we will never send a new person in solo.
In order to guarantee consistency in our service, it is important that we have multiple people who are well-trained on the idiosyncrasies of your space. We have found that rotating people allows our team members to utilize their individual strengths to your benefit. Some of our employees tend to notice details up high, others down low. Some have a magic touch for cleaning a fiberglass tub, others are super skilled with a squeegee. Some of our employees are lightning fast, others are slower and meticulous. By combining and rotating all of these strengths, you get the max benefit of the skills of our whole team!
