Short-term rentals inherently require services to be provided within a very strict window of time. We understand that vacation rentals are a business, and the efficiency of the housekeeping portion has a direct influence on the success of your property.
Our vacation rental service is multi-faceted and includes all of the same cleaning services we provide to our residential and commercial clients including cleaning of all surfaces, floors, fixtures and furniture.
Turnover service averages $50 to $280 per turnover depending on the size of the property, the max guest occupancy, and any ancillary services. Depending on the current state of the property, we may also need to do an initial deep clean as well.
In addition to cleaning, the Sugarshine Team will cover all housekeeping items such as:
- Dishes
- Tidying
- Making all beds with clean linens, folding towels in an aesthetically pleasing manner
- Inspecting the property for damages and reporting them to the owner or property manager
- Minor fixes such as replacing lightbulbs and batteries
- Cleaning inside cabinets, refrigerators, and ovens
- Inspecting the grounds outside the property to remove debris, inspect for damages and offer feedback to the owner or property manager regarding anything that may need attention
- Ordering, restocking, and placement of consumable items such as toilet paper, paper towels, soaps & personal toiletries, laundry supplies, welcome packages, and any other items to assure a pleasant guest experience
- When needed, we fold fitted sheets and replace duvet covers… Don’t act like you’re not impressed 😉

The Sugarshine Team offers linen/laundry service on several levels:
- Bronze: For owners of 3 or fewer rentals who have already supplied their own linens. The Sugarshine Team will provide laundry services, transport and storage of clean linens after every turnover
- Silver: For owners of 3 or more rentals, who are providing/ordering their own linens. The Sugarshine Team will work directly with a locally owned full-service laundry facility to schedule logistics for transport, storage, inventory and inspection for quality of all linens after every turnover
- Gold: For any owner (1-50 properties) The Sugarshine Team will provide an initial linen package for owners who would prefer to delegate the purchase, restocking, and supply management of linens exclusively to the housekeeping team. We will work with the owner or property manager to determine par levels for every item including, but not limited to, sheets, duvet inserts/covers, towels, rugs, kitchen towels, pillows, decorative blankets, sofa/air bed sheets. This package covers everything from purchasing to reordering for damaged replacements, laundering, transport, storage and inspection for quality. It is the most hands-off approach for owners and property managers and guarantees that you will always have clean, crisp linens for your property.
We work with locally owned/operated companies for all of our laundry services and consumable supplies!
Basic laundry service averages $20 per unit. Full linen management and laundry includes an initial one-time linen package fee that can range anywhere from $175 to $750 depending on the size of the property as well as a laundry/linen fee that is billed per unit, per turnover, and averages $27 per unit.
Fun Fact! In 2019, The Sugarshine Team handled over 28,000 pounds of laundry. We know what you’re thinking: “That’s like the weight of an elephant!” But you’re wrong – it’s more like 2-5 elephants depending on if we are talking African Bush elephants or Asian elephants.
